Overview: Training Analst

The Trainer is responsible for providing process and transactional training to internal customers in applications necessary to support their job duties, primarily focused on core PC applications and SAP. The Trainer will have specific knowledge to the training area of expertise, either PC training or SAP or both. They will design training courses and develop training materials to educate the business on business processes, systems solutions and available reporting. Trainers will be a resource to the Analyst team, absorbing process and transaction details to share with the user community. Additionally, a Trainer will assist, resolve, and respond to user education helpdesk tickets from the business user community.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Provide training expertise to internal and external customers •Collaborate with Business Analysts and Functional Analysts on the team to ensure business solutions are understood and communicated to the business consistently •Become familiar with the designed business solutions for PC and SAP •Define training strategy and schedules, coordinating the timelines with the business •Develop job aids and training materials •Conduct end user training using presentation tools, demonstrating processes, and articulating business benefits •Share knowledge gained from training back to Analyst team to identify areas for improvement •Provide user education on business solutions and transactions and troubleshoot user education helpdesk tickets Core Competencies •Communicate Effectively [Written and Oral] •Advocate and Adapt to Change •Build Positive Working Relationships Technical Competencies •Working knowledge of Microsoft office automation tools Non-Technical Competencies •Decision Making •Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks •Initiate action, follow up and follow through Communications Contacts Internal •Internal users of PCs •Internal users of SAP External •Hardware and Software Vendors •Vendors/Trades

Qualifications:

Required • Proficiency in utilizing and navigating software programs and adaptability to systems • B.S. or B.A. University level degree • 2-3 years of training experience • Valid California drivers license, access to a motor vehicle and current insurance coverage Preferred • Expertise in one or more specified SAP module/area of business: [PS, FI/CO, MM, SD, SM, RE] • 1-3 years SAP training experience • Knowledge of Homebuilding Industry Processes • Knowledge/experienc e using InfoPak Physical Requirements The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Travel via airplane and/or automobile between corporate and division offices and communities is approximately <10% of total work time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
