JOB TITLE: Contracts Administrator
COMPANY: Sunrise LOCATION: Placentia
SUMMARY: Position responsible for the maintenance and management of grower contracts, loan applications, and loan documents. Monitor and analyze loan activity through out the season keeping senior management informed of loan repayment status. Responsibilities also include maintenance of all company facility and farmland leases and subleases. Position works closely with senior management, legal department and district personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Grower Contract and Loan Administration
o Receives and reviews contract and/or loan application submitted by district offices for completeness.
o Conduct UCC search.
o Resolve collateral issues with the UCC by contacting other marketing organizations to obtain subordination agreements, where necessary.
o Prepare loan narratives for each grower including past performance on yields per acre and unpaid balances. Forecast current years expected yields and loan repayment schedule based upon season assumptions.
o Present completed loan package to loan committee for approval.
o Upon approval, generate loan documents, promissory note, credit agreement, security agreement, assignment of sales and marketing agreement.
o File State UCC-1’s
o Send completed document files to district office for signatures. Track status to ensure all original agreements are signed by the grower and returned to corporate office.
o Obtain appropriate signatures on all completed contracts.
o Maintain individual grower files by district containing all original documents.
o Supply copies of marketing agreements to grower payables for set up of receiving fields.
o Maintain contract data base by entering and updating grower information, loan information and contract status.
· Grower Loan Funding/Purchase Order Processing
o Review loan advance requests and/or purchase order requests received from district offices.
o Verify loanable amount against current balance
o Submit requests to appropriate authority for approval
o Upon approval, forward request to grower payables for processing of check.
· Property Management
o Maintain property management database including master leases and agricultural sub leases.
o Monitor rents payable and prepare monthly check requests to ensure prompt payment of rent.
o Generates agricultural sub leases for all districts. Charges growers for rent in accordance with sub lease terms. Follows up with district offices on unpaid sub lease rent.
o Reconciles leased acres to contracted acres.
o Works with senior management to renew master leases as expiration dates approach.

· EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university: or two years related experience and or/training: or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
· LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence. Must be able to write reports and business correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful but not required.
· MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret graphs.
· REASONING ABILITY:
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
· PERSONAL TRAITS:
Must have excellent telephone communication skills. Must be able to handle all types of customer complaints diplomatically and effectively. Must be able to follow directions from a supervisor. Must be able to interact with coworkers. Must be able to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures. Must be able to accept constructive criticism.
· TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
Personal computer, email, fax machines, standard office software (MS Office). Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
