JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for coordinating and managing web content, programs and product launches to support the ToshibaDirect.com and Explore.Toshiba.com websites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with product marketing managers to write and maintain accurate and relevant product information on the web.
• Works with web merchandisers to implement promotional offers on ToshibaDirect.com including set up and maintenance of coupons, rebates and other incentives.
• Identifies new tools and process improvements that increase web shopper conversion and/or provides a world-class web user experience.
• Collaborates with the ToshibaDirect.com marketing group and product marketing teams to develop, manage and maintain web-based laptop accessory locators.
• Evaluates, recommends, and executes additional web merchandising opportunities for laptop accessory products to help drive incremental sales through ToshibaDirect.com.
• Provides assistance to the web product launch team to provide support as needed on new laptop product launches and build-to-order configurations.
• Works with various marketing groups as well as external vendors to manage and maintain web campaign tracking codes and analytics.
• Acts as point of contact for accessory product marketing group and works with web project managers and the ToshibaDirect.com marketing group to support various product initiatives on the web.
• Identifies opportunities for improving the overall web user experience on ToshibaDirect.com and Explore.Toshiba.com.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS required.
• 3-5 years related experience in web merchandising, content or similar web marketing field.
• Must possess the demonstrated ability to work with other teams to identify business needs and translate them into web requirements.
• Ability to identify, investigate, and act on opportunities to improve business performance.
• Intermediate web design skills including knowledge of HTML and Adobe Photoshop is highly desirable.
• Experience with organic search and SEO is desirable.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle multiple simultaneous requirements and establish and act on priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and address the communications needs of executive management.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make effective decisions.
• Experience with web analytics and reporting tools (Coremetrics, Google Analytics) is a plus.
