to reduce business overhead costs to ultimately maintain your employees jobs
The Honorable City of Irvine Mayor Sukhee Kang will be Keynote Speaker at a business seminar hosted by the Orange County One-Stop Center. Mayor Kang will highlight the Green Ribbon Committee’s efforts in the City of Irvine and introduce prominent speakers who will discuss: using or producing organic or recycled materials, reducing packaging in products sold and using renewable energy in day-to-day operations. Additional topics will include: more resource efficient programs in energy, waste management, recycling, sustainability, transportation such as carpooling and water conservation.
Participating employers and speakers will include, Southern California Edison, Sam's Club, Greenwala, Southern California Gas Company, Western Research Application Center (WESRAC), California Employment Development Department Workshare and SCS Engineers/City of Irvine Public Works & Redevelopment. The event is sponsored by Sam’s Club and will take place at the Coastline Community College Garden Grove Center, 12901 Euclid Street, Room 122, Garden Grove, CA on April 1st from 8 am to 10 am.
